Good article. I don't mind a little bit of corruption when it's in the name of the Greater Good. It's a shame every time we get a man like this, he ends up shot. Every damn time.

That guy was wild. A hard pill to swallow is he wouldn't have been able to do half of what he did without his rampant corruption. I recommend the book "Voices of Protest" by Alan Brinkley for those who would like to know more.

Huey Long was my first taste of larger than life American political figures when delving into history. I still got a soft spot for him. And curse FDR, I believe he was behind Long’s murder.

Excellent article. My grandpa didn’t care much for politics but he grew up in Shreveport and never had a bad thing to say about Huey Long (and never a good thing about Sherman).

Long was a threat because he showed how solvable most problems were with willpower, theres a reason they tried to kill Trump too.
