Good article. Not only are Catholic & Protestant differences “unresolved”, but are ready to hit a breaking point when (not if) either London or Dublin (or both) goes nationalistic in the coming years.
If the two sides are smart, they (Catholic Nationalists & Protestant Unionists) will join forces and coordinate efforts to fight globalists. There is evidence that this is already happening. However, globalists are sneaky, and old wounds die hard: if the ensuing chaos is used to settle old scores, then anything can happen.
Keep an eye on the hedges and cemeteries. The Blackthorn is the source of the shillelagh which has been the Irish answer to the resolution of low intensity disputes. A quick tour of Etsy/Ebay will illustrate the availability of these items. It takes a year to make properly, but against a kitchen knife it holds an advantage.
I mention the cemeteries because of the conversations I’ve had with a retired Army MSG ( Ranger/ SF) who is an expatriate. He came here at 16 during the troubles. One such conversation included an aside of the tradition of double funerals. He said that many a churchyard grave in the north had an additional sealed “coffin” that contained not the mortal remains of some unknown but the tools required to make them.
And then you think of all the Irish living in America with their institutional memory, seeing their adopted country being overrun and their existance marginalized and you wonder what happens when they decide that diversity, wokeism, unfettered immigration and welfare/healthcare not available to citizens needs to be curtailed?
I know the ACC and SEC colluded to keep and out of the playoff but this seems excessive! In all seriousness though yeah this is so true of Ireland. I have cousins there and they all love Palestine as well because they identify with them.
Yes. Unfortunately the negative side of the oppression narrative is that many identify with theirs worldism.
But I think the non insignificant minority of the younger generation of men will turn against the powers that be regardless of where their ancestors stood prior.
They aren’t bleak. We survive. They are artificially creating problems to increase control and dependency on government.
Most Irish, if they are being honest, HATE all forms of government and prefer a local management system based on trust.
Decades have been spent by self serving treacherous public servants undermining local autonomy and centralising power in Dublin.
This is their Achilles heel. You could see this by observing the recent transportation shutdown in and out of Dublin during the “fuel protests”.
The police are still relatively local, as much as they tried. This means they are only willing to do so much. They know people know where they live.
To end the “protests”, the government relied heavily on a mobile thug force that they had to move around the country to do the battering. It was noted that some of this force was not Irish, so they are effectively relying on mercenaries.
Their numbers are less than 1500, 1800 tops. These are the borderline psychotic violent force that enjoy beating and attacking unarmed civilians. They follow orders.
But, they need to eat. They need to rest. They need to travel. Split that over 5, 6, 7 areas and it all begins to unravel.
It would only take 3-4 months to grind the government to its knees. Less if things got a little more, shall we say, inventive.
“What if they just bring in the Army?”. It’s against our constitution, so that would be crossing a line that would mean no going back.
We would be back to 1922 all over again. This time with the knowledge of what happens when you allow treasonous public servants avoid justice.
Some people believe that the end of the World is at hand. I hold no such impression. It could be so, but even the very wise cannot see all ends, and so i hold out hope yet that the light of the West may flame out brilliantly at least once more 'ere all lights go dark. Godspeed, you crazy bastards.

You do understand that the men out protesting in Belfast are Loyalists right? British Unionists.

Although I could be wrong
Not all. Sinn Fein have exposed themselves as the muslim loving globalist rats they are, i.e. lying politicians.
They don’t control and won’t control what is coming, if anything they will be amongst the first to be enlightened.
FAUGH A BALLAH!
The Irish are good. They’ve got the WILL.
They just need to TIGHTEN up their game.
The Irish are represented in EVERY ASPECT, of White diaspora culture and accomplishment.
There is no FAIR reason, that Ireland shouldn’t be a WORLD POWER.
They have to think BIGGER, as a home culture. And aim higher.
Appreciate your shedding light on this situation. I had no idea things were so bleak in Ireland.
